tl;dr please don't be grumpy when you come through my line. I know that buying groceries isn't always the most fun thing in the world, but ringing up groceries for hours is no walk in the park. Polite, smiling customers earn karma points.

Amazingly, after all that raaaaging, would you believe that I actually generally like being a cashier? I prefer the express line (not the backwards one though ahhhhh gdi), but still, I like just... meeting people. Being around people does me good.

Oh, I was going to ask for a y/n on doing that thing where it sends my tweets to my LJ, but I'm already telling myself a resounding n and you know what, if you want to see my tweets you could always just follow me on Twitter.

I'm kind of ridiculously happy with the wig. I just need to color it and possibly shape it a little. And MAYBE cut it a bit, depending on if I want, like, The Visitation Five or Castrovalva Five. (He has longer hair in Castrovalva. XD Peter likes to point out that you can tell what order they filmed it in by the length of his hair.)

HI I'M WEIRD.

Umm. In other news, I start my job on Wednesday. Ahhhhh I'm so scared.

Also I got a NICE bruise on the boat last night. On my thigh. And it hurts to walk.

And now I'm going to watch Swing Kids, because it just came after being on my Netflix for months. I put it in my queue when I was really into Robert Sean Leonard. So... possibly the end of last year. I mean, it's been waiting a while. XD OKAY. So. Swing Kids.

I was looking through some old entries (looking for an entry in which I quoted something, if you must know) and I found this.

For those of you who are too lazy to click or can't see it because you haven't friended me, those entries are me fondly remembering chocolate-filled donuts of my youth. The donut shop we got them at has long-since closed and I haven't--

WAIT. YES I HAVE HAD A CHOCOLATE-FILLED DONUT SINCE THEN. Probably a month after making that entry, I went to my first day of college. In the commuter parking lot at North Campus, they had a little table set up with donuts and drinks and stuff to welcome us. AND THEY HAD A CHOCOLATE-FILLED DONUT. IT WAS AMAZING It made not only my day but my life better.

... Except I forgot to ask where they came from. The boxes were plain old white ones, so that didn't help. They could've come from the donut place about two miles away from the college, but I guess I never checked.

POINT WHAT'S YOUR POINT. Point is, reading that entry, I realized, two years later, that that chocolate filling was probably the chocolate ganache stuff they put on top of the donuts, whipped into a filling. DERP DERP. Well, that solves that conundrum. And... now I really want chocolate-filled donuts. Damn. D: I'll have to settle for... chocolate. I could really go for some chocolate right now. I'm in a "eat chocolate frosting out of the can" kind of mood. (I'm just really desperate for chocolate, if you get my drift.) I mean, not literally out of the can, that's unsanitary. Jeez. I'd put it in a cup first, obviously.

My first day at Market Basket is next Wednesday. Did I mention I have a job? Because I do. I feel like I might have mentioned this on Twitter but not on here. WELL. Yes. I have a job.

WHAT ELSE. Ummm. My Five wig came. It's cute. It needs to be colored (somehow) and styled. But it's a pretty good Five wig, all things considered. I tried to take pictures but they failed so maybe some other day.
